Our client opened up about a challenge they faced: setting and managing goals in a way that kept them engaged and motivated. This insight sparked the creation of BetrGols, a dynamic solution designed to transform goal-setting into an exciting journey.
Our client opened up about a challenge they faced: setting and managing goals in a way that kept them engaged and motivated. This insight sparked the creation of BetrGols, a dynamic solution designed to transform goal-setting into an exciting journey.

Upon deeper research, we found that most people didn’t gave a goal setting problem but more a systems problem.

Over 80% of people who abandon their goals do so not from lack of passion, but because they lose momentum within the first few weeks.

Traditional goal apps focus on writing goals down, but without daily systems or nudges, those goals remain wishful thinking.

In essence, users lacked actual motivation to actually check in with progress on their set goals.

We needed to design an app that is: fun & intuitive, engaging and makes the process of achieving your goals easier to do.
We needed to design an app that is: fun & intuitive, engaging and makes the process of achieving your goals easier to do.
We designed BetrGols at its core to help you break down challenging goals into smaller, actionable bits (tasks). Tasks are pieces of the puzzle so we empowered users to be able to visualize the big picture as they complete the little tasks by attaching an actual puzzle to each goal created.

A piece of the puzzle gets added on every time a user completes a milestone task on goal until they unlock the full picture.

We understood that goal setting and breaking down goals are complex so we also introduced a template store with pre-made goal templates with clear instructions for users who aren’t sure where to get started.

We also came across some unique problems, some goals are difficult to break down and this could potentially lead users to feel stuck or at the very least slow them down.
We also came across some unique problems, some goals are difficult to break down and this could potentially lead users to feel stuck or at the very least slow them down.
This eventually lead to introducing AI into the flow. Users can now be able to prompt their way into a well structured goal particularly tailored to their exact needs in just a few minutes.

We were presented with a great opportunity to tackle the problem differently and we made it our mission to make goal management more intuitive, seamless and better for users.
